I wonder how people can see the beauty in nature and not believe in God, and in the beautiful world that he has created for us. It is a reminder to me of how blessed I am. It also reminds me of one of my very favourite primary songs I learned as a child called "My Heavenly Father Loves Me", it goes like this:
"Whenever I hear the song of a bird, or look at the blue, blue sky. Whenever I feel the rain on my face or the wind as it rushes it by. Whenever I touch a velvet rose or walk by our lilac tree, I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world Heavenly Father created for me."
"He gave me my eyes that I might see the colour of butterfly wings. He gave me my ears that I might hear the magical sound of things. He gave me my life, my mind, my heart: I thank him reverently. For all his creations, of which I'm a part. Yes, I know Heavenly Father loves me".
Now I sing this song to my daughter and hope that she will appreciate the beauty the world has to offer as she grows.

I, too, am amazed at all of the simply beautiful scenes in nature that we see every day. And, oh how we seem to take them for granted! Thanks for the gentle reminder that Heavenly Father loves us and has created all of this for our enjoyment.
I had to sing along to the song. The sunset is beautiful. I was looking at one the other day as I drove home, the sky was all orange and it looked like gold threads were through it. How blessed we are to have eyes to see the beauty of the earth.
HEIDI!!!
How you doing??? I miss you!!!
