We decided to take a drive to
Howarth, West Yorkshire. I love Howarth, especially since it is known as the place where the
Bronte sisters lived, in addition, my middle name is Charlotte, after Charlotte Bronte.
Before arriving in Howarth, we drove through some very pretty countryside, I love the dry stone walls that can be found everywhere, and everything is so green. We took some photo's

Me and my mum!

We discovered a new species of caterpillar...

Above are the coal bunkers that are located next to the
Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, this was our next stop.

The photograph above is a view of the Keighley and Worth Valley Platform from the bridge. It is an authentic steam railway that runs through the heart of "Bronte Country".
My friend Wendy-Lou (as I call her) had given me a 2o pence piece (worth almost 40 cents) that she had somehow accumulated, she had asked that I buy something with it and bring it back to her, so that she could see it's value. As luck would have it, you could buy a platform ticket for 2o pence, so that's what I spent her money on. She now has the ticket as well as a photograph (shown below) of the platform in a little frame. We stayed on the platform for a short while and took some photographs, it was fun.

Nana and Grandad posed for a photograph with Amelia.

It was nice to rest for a moment.

Next we headed up quite a steep cobblestone hill into the town, to make it easier we stopped for a short while at a little park where Amelia played on the see-saw and swings.

Daddy and Amelia had fun playing together!

After playtime at the park, we walked on and arrived at the bottom of another steep cobblestone street. As you can see from the photographs, houses were mingled with small shops, unfortunately most of the shops were closed already, but I was lucky enough to find a lovely jewelry shop where my mum bought me some mozaic opal earrings (Amelia's birth stone is opal) and a very pretty ring. (thanks mum!)

I love this photograph below, the flowers in front of this house were just breathtaking, it just shows you don't need a garden, potted plants make quite a statement too!

Below is the view looking back from the top of the hill.

At the top of the hill is the Black Bull pub (behind the phone box) which is supposedly haunted. Of course, I had to take photographs of the phone box too.

Here I am by some stocks which were reconstructed in 1909.

It was dusk when we left, so we ended this perfect day with the perfect meal, fish and chips of course!

Such a beautiful country - everything is so green!!
It's hard to believe that people actually live there -- it's like out of a fairy tale.
