Being from England, one of my favourite meals is, of course, fish and chips, so I was really looking forward to visiting my favourite "chippy" when I was on my hols back home. In my humble opinion, the best fish and chip shop in the whole wide world is the Wetherby Whaler. I have many memories of going there and either eating lunch or dinner on a bench by the river or upstairs in the cafe.
Before we ate lunch, we walked by the river.
I love to hug my mum, we are apart for far too long, so, when we are together, we have to make the most of it.

Finally, it was time to eat,mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmmmmmmm!
Well worth the 3 1/2 year wait...
...even my picky hubby agrees that they are the best he's ever had.
Amelia got to try them for the first time too.
