My mum and step-dad, David of course...We last saw them when we went to England in September 2008, so almost a year ago. I was so excited and could hardly stand it, finally on July 25, 2009, the big day was here and they arrived safe and sound at PDX.

It was so exciting having Amelia spend time with her grandparents, she was so excited to see them too, I think the fact that we 'skype' each week helped Amelia to recognize them.

Here's Amelia on their bed, showing off the new bedding we bought, so comfy and fun.

Of course, Nana and Grandad always bring lovely gifts when they visit, below is a photo of Amelia with her new traditional music box, she caught on really quickly and loved winding it up to make the music.

I got a descant and a treble recorder (yahoo!), of course Amelia was eager to share in the fun and immediately ran off with one of them. She's so musical.

Next, it was time for the good stuff, Thornton's Continental Chocolates, my favourite indulgence. The box was huge and had two layers, they are going to last a long time...especially since I hid them away from everybody - a girl has to be selfish with some things!

On Sunday afternoon, we went out for a walk at the local park. The weather was so warm.
Even daddy couldn't help stepping on the roundabout for a moment or two.

Up, up and away, Amelia flew high into the air as she walked beside Daddy and Grandad.
It was a fun afternoon, but the best part was that we were together!

Special times! We know we enjoyed visiting with all of you here in Texas. The only drawback is - time goes by way too fast!! Lots of great memories were made to store away.
Hey, we just might have to sample some of that chocolate - we'll have to play detective and discover the hiding spot.
We had a great time meeting up with everybody again but it went by so fast, miss you all already, looking forward to the next trip.
