Dancing With Grandpa

The Stockyards is a fun place to visit in Texas. We spent a day there, and all wore our stylish "Rawe Reunion" T-shirts, which were designed by my brother in law, Jeremy.

There are lots of fun shops and we even got to see the longhorns as they were paraded down the street. A small country band was playing, and as I looked on, Grandpa scooped up some of his grandaughters and danced with them. Here he is with Amelia. What a great memory. It reminded me of dancing with my dad. I am grateful that my daughter is part of a wonderful family who love her so much.

Aww, so cute. I just feel happy inside when I see my kids having fun with their grandparents. The connection between generations is priceless. I guess I'm feeling nostalgic. One of these days we should do a huge Rawe reunion. I know we get together here in Motown, but ya know something where everyone tried to come. One day......

Hi Ashleigh, that would be great. A time when we could all be together for more than just pizza! :) I'd love to join you on one of your scrapbook retreats too...Matthew and I have talked about coming to California again for a long weekend at least.

Nothing like a family reunion to remind us of the importance of family!
