And we all roll over...

Amelia has begun rolling over from her tummy onto her back. It's so funny to watch her, her eyes get big and she always looks pretty surprised as it is happening. Tonight she was having fun rolling over on the chaise, and I couldn't resist taking her photo. She is so much fun and just gets cuter and cuter.

"Okay, ready mum? Here I go..."

"Almost there..."

"Success! Maybe I'll be a gymnast when I grow up."

"Ready for my bath, mum!"

This is what I saw on Saturday morning as I walked into the kitchen ready to give Amelia a bath, I had to giggle, Matthew had put her on her tummy for a few minutes and she just looked like she was saying "come on mum, I'm ready for my bath".

I couldn't decide which photo I liked the most so I posted all of them!

'Sweet' Valentine

Amelia was all dressed up for her first Valentine's Day. Grandma Rawe had bought her this adorable red and white outfit which looked so cute, especially with her little white patent leather shoes.

I have to admit, my favorite part of the day was when Amelia came to my office for the last hour, she even had her first lesson in Finance from my boss who was more than happy to take care of her whilst I continued to do my work.

Matthew thought that Amelia looks like she's riding a horse in this photo, maybe she is practicing for when she's older

She is quite strong and loves to pull her feet up when she lays on her back.

Heart shaped pizza for dinner, perfect 'romantic meal' for my husband!

Just Chillin' with my daddy

Amelia has already discovered, and seems to share, one of her daddy's passions, laying out on the couch watching 'the game'. It doesn't really matter which team is playing, or in fact what sport is on, she loves it anyway. She already has her first LA Dodgers t-shirt and I'm sure it won't be long before she owns some kind of Boston Celtics outfit! All bundled Up

The past couple of weeks have been pretty chilly here in Oregon, it's a good excuse to bundle up our little Amelia when we go out. Here are a few photo's of her all snuggled in under hoods and blankets.


Hello little bear!

What a Nice Bumbo

For those of you that have never heard of a 'bumbo' before, don't feel bad, I hadn't heard of them either until I was pregnant. A bumbo is a little seat that you can put infants in from 3 months plus (so long as they are able to hold up their head). I was lucky enough to get one as a shower gift in my favorite color, purple, so the other day I decided to get it out and see what Amelia thought of it. Well, she loved it, at first I think she was amused that she was able to sit up straight without being held, she kept looking at me as if to say 'how can this be? I am sitting up without being held'. The best part is, whereever I am, the bumbo seat can go too, yesterday whilst I got ready for work, I put the Amelia in the bumbo and placed it on the counter in the bathroom in front of me and faced it toward the mirror, Amelia just kept grinning at herself and was quite content to just watch what I was doing.
It is a wonderful thing!
