Three weeks ago, we signed up for the Parent/Tot swim class at the Dallas Aquatic Center. Even when I was pregnant and taking part in the deep water aerobics, I couldn't wait until I had my baby girl and was able to take her to these classes, for one thing they take place in the therapy pool which is lovely and warm instead of the cold pool that we would work out in.
We bought Amelia a very cute swimsuit (Nana, notice the little butterfly on her swimsuit) and now take her to the pool for a half hour every Monday evening. When we are there we sing nursery rhymes and mainly spend time getting our babies used to the water, the age range is from 6 months to 3 years old and I think Amelia is the youngest in the group. Unfortunately she thinks the water is for licking or drinking and has spluttered a couple of times when trying to drink it, but other than that, she does really well. It's quite funny because she is very serious when she is there and tends to want to observe all of the other little ones around her.

Ok, that first picture is so sweet! And I love your new layout too- you need to teach me how to do it! And her bathing suit is way cute too!
Ok, I do love the first picture too, but I especially meant the one where she is laying on yur shoulder and smiling! :)
