My step-dad David took us to an old mill during our visit. It had many storeys and was full of everything from crystal door knobs and old heavy church furniture to statues of Uncle Sam and Michael Jordan. We found the antique rocking horse(shown above)and sat Amelia on it, it was quite charming and I even considered buying it and shipping it home.
This huge chair seemed to suit our little princess, future Queen perhaps?
After spending time at the mill, we stopped by David's friends house to see his collection of "Jowett's", these are old cars that he had refurbished. Matthew even got to sit in one (he just about fit), the inside was completely original and the car could legally be driven on the road.
Later in the evening, we met my Nana and Grandad for dinner. We had a carvery, yummy, there's nothing like roast beef and yorkshire puddings for a yorkshire lass.
Here we are above, waiting for our dinner.
We finished with dessert. As you can see, my Nana was really enjoying her ice cream sundae. I should mention that I inherited a very special trait from my Nana, we both tend to spill our food on our clothes, however on this night, the only evidence of her treat was the chocolate sauce around her mouth!
She still looks as beautiful as ever!
