Blossoms in the Park

Last Spring, I blogged about the beautiful blossoms in the Capitol Mall Park area right outside my office. This year, we decided to start a new tradition and take photo's with my friend Traci's beautiful dogs, Echo and Kant (blue merle sheltie's). I picked Amelia up from daycare around 10am and met Traci, Echo Kant and my friend Tammy (who also works with me). Tammy loves photography too so I was excited that she was there to take some of the photo's of both Amelia and the dogs.

Here are just a few of Tammy's beautiful photo's. I have many more that I will be posting over the next few days...

The daffodils are beautiful at the moment and so we found the perfect rock to pose our subjects on. Amelia had fun climbing back up on it after the photo was taken, she so brave.

The dogs were definitely more obedient that Amelia. In the photo below, Amelia stood patiently for oh, I think 30 seconds tops...

...it was easy to see what she was thinking in this photo...

...and off she goes.

...Echo and Kant look on as she discovers that she is free once again.

The Sprague Fountain made Amelia very curious and she really wanted to climb on it.

So there's a glimpse into the fun hour that we had together. Check back soon, I'll be posting more photo's in the next few days.

Her hair is getting soooo long! You can tell how alert and obedient the dogs are - Amelia - not so much. Looks like she is ready to "take off" and do some exploring on her own. That's our girl!!
