Peace, Quiet and Spirituality

We recently went to Texas to visit family. It was a much needed break and we loved seeing everybody.

I was very excited when we made plans to visit the Dallas Temple, since Matthew and I don't go as often as we would like to. My sister-in-law, Maryn, very kindly offered to take care of Amelia (Amelia was happy about this because she was able to spend time with her much loved cousin Brooke). Matthew's parents, Matthew and I set off for the Temple and after nearly ending up at the VA Hospital (a story for another time), we arrived. It was a beautiful sunny day and the Spring flowers were blooming. From the minute you step foot on the grounds, you can feel the peace there, it's a wonderful escape from our busy, sometimes harsh world.

After our time in the Temple, I was happy that I was granted some time to take pictures, some of which I was actually in - amazing!
