As much as we would love to sleep in during the weekend, Amelia usually sees to it that we get up bright and early, just like any other day. The nice thing is, we all get to have breakfast together, as a family, unlike during the week when we are rushing out to work and daycare.
Yesterday afternoon we visited Aspinwall's Fruit Stand, they serve the most delicious fresh fruit shakes I have ever tasted, of course we had to have one, and also bought some fresh local strawberries to bring home, and that's what we ate for breakfast today.
I decided to make waffles (from scratch of course) I cut up strawberries, as well as a banana, poured a glass of cold milk for each of us and finished off the perfect breakfast with Matthew's favorite maple syrup, golden griddle.
As you can see Amelia loved the strawberries, but the best part was that we were all together!

Looks yummy! Waffles and strawberries are my fave! Too bad you couldn't invite us over.... to far. :(
