Last Friday, I had my gallbladder removed, it was a fast surgery, outpatient so I was done and dusted within 3-4 hours. Needless to say, I haven't felt 100% the last few days. Matthew has resumed the roles of both of us, and Amelia got two new teeth, which didn't make daddy's work any lighter.
The positives are, I am recovering well, have a week off of work, to just lie around all day long (mind you, it's just not the same when you feel crumby and can't do any of the chores you need to do), Luckily for me, I have a fabulous husband who does all he can to keep our family running, and I am shown lots of love by so many friends and family. So here's a big shout out to all my TGIF friends who bought me the beautiful orchid pictured above, my neighbours who brought me a beautiful pink azalea, Mark and Linda who sent me beautiful roses, also, to Judy who provided dinner for us, and Alice who is bringing dinner around tonight. Also to my parents (on both sides) who have called every day to check-in, my relief society president who called to scold me for not telling her about my surgery...and to all who have remembered me in their prayers and thoughts and sent cards.
I am truly blessed, and am especially thankful that I can afford to have good medical care, I hope I never take this for granted.

Glad you posted an update! I think I annoyed Alice by constantly asking how you are! We miss you here at work. Can't wait until I see you again.
