What Makes The Perfect Father?

I suppose some might say that there is no such thing as a "perfect" father, but I have to say, Matthew is about as close as you can get.

From the moment Amelia was born, he has done all he can to make sure her basic needs were taken care of. But more importantly, he has always shown her how much he loves and cares for her. I remember falling even more in love with Matthew, when he became a dad, and I feel truly blessed that my daughter will grow up with a wonderful father. Having a great dad myself, I know the value that it is.

Following are a few photo's taken of daddy and daughter on Fathers Day last month.

These photo's were taken in the front garden when we got home from church.

Below daddy opens a gift that Amelia made for him at Nursery...

...it was a cute carton full of hershey's hugs and kisses, with a beautiful poem on top. Amelia enjoyed decorating it with lots of foam hearts.

Later in the evening, we decided to go out for family walk.

...walking hand in hand.

After a little while, Amelia ended up on daddy's shoulders, he is so tall that it is the perfect place to be for the best views around.

Thank you Matthew for being the perfect father in our family. Your daughter and I love you very much!
